The Citizens’ Service Centre of the market town of Guntramsdorf acts as the official registration office for ID Austria. This digital identity enables secure access to numerous online services provided by public authorities and government departments, such as the digital driving licence, FinanzOnline or e-ID cards. Use of ID Austria is voluntary.

Required documents and conditions

To register successfully, please bring the following documents and items with you:

• Official photo ID:
  passport or identity card.
• Smartphone: The “ID-Austria”
  app must be installed in advance.
• Email address:
  Active access to a personal email address.
• Unlocking method:
  Either via PIN or biometric data.
• Passport photo:
  A recent photograph, if no photo has been stored on the e-card.
