The local authority’s finance department is responsible for issuing invoices for nursery fees, dog licence fees and music school fees. All other charges are invoiced by the Mödling District Association for Tax Collection and Environmental Protection (GVA Mödling).

2. electronic invoice
It is possible to receive tax and duty assessments electronically. If you have an ID Austria account with an activated inbox, the assessments will be sent via this channel. If you do not have an ID Austria account or your inbox is not activated, the assessments will be sent by email via Brief-Buttler.
3. dogs
You must register your dog. An annual dog licence fee must be paid for every dog kept within the municipal area. You must register your dog when you acquire it or when you move into the municipality. You must deregister your dog if you no longer keep it (e.g. due to its death or because you have moved away).

4. waste disposal charges
Waste collection charges are billed by GVA Mödling. The amount of the charges depends on the size of the waste bins provided and the frequency of collection. Any changes to the number of bins or the collection schedule must be reported directly to the municipal building authority or to GVA.
