Important notes on registration:
- Children and young people (up to 14 years of age):
The signature of a legal guardian is required for registration. This person is liable in the event of damage and is obliged to settle any claims that may arise. - Data collection:
Upon registration, the first name, surname, date of birth, gender and main place of residence are recorded. - Changes to personal details:
Any changes to these details must be reported to the library immediately. - Reading rules:
The full library regulations form the basis for the issue of the library card and contain all terms of use.

Borrowing and returns
- The standard loan period is three weeks.
- Lending media to third parties is prohibited without exception.
- Payment of the loan fee does not exempt you from the obligation to return items on time.
Extensions
- The three-week loan period can be extended on a weekly basis, provided the item has not been reserved.
- The renewal must be made in person, by telephone or by email before the deadline expires.
- Please note: The loan period for audiobooks, Tonies and the Toniebox cannot be extended.
Service for the return
Book return box: Return books 24 hours a day
Books can also be returned outside opening hours.
In cooperation with Sparkasse Baden, a return box is available in the foyer of the bank branch (in the town hall building).
Important: Tonies and the Toniebox must not be placed in the return box.
