Taster ticket: VOR Climate Ticket Metropolitan Region

The market town of Guntramsdorf is making two “VOR Klimaticket Metropolregion” passes available for free loan. This initiative allows users to travel on all public transport in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland free of charge.

Scope of application

The ticket is valid on all VOR lines in the entire eastern region as well as on the WESTBAHN between Vienna and Amstetten or the Mariazell railway. This includes ÖBB trains, Wiener Lokalbahnen and regional bus lines.</p

Authorisation of use

  • Target group: People with main residence in Guntramsdorf.

  • Scope: One person is entitled to travel per ticket.

  • Minors: Under the age of 18, the signature of a legal guardian is required for use.

Borrowing period

Borrowing takes place on a daily basis for a maximum of four days per month and eight days per year. A weekend counts as two borrowing days. The number of weekends is limited to three per year.</p

Collection and return

Collection takes place at the Citizens' Service Centre at the following times:

  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 12:00 h

  • Thursday additionally: 13:00 - 18:00 h

Tickets for the weekend must be collected on the preceding Friday

Return modalities

  • The return takes place on the day of the loan immediately after the journey or at the latest on the following day by 08:00 a.m. (after the weekend on Monday by 08:00 a.m.).

  • The ticket must be returned in person or by dropping it in the town hall letterbox in an envelope labelled with your name.

Loss and liability

  • Loss: In the event of loss, the current value of the annual ticket must be replaced.

  • Delayed return: If tickets are not returned on time, the subsequent person must be reimbursed for the travel costs incurred as a result.

  • System misuse: The municipality of Guntramsdorf reserves the right to change or cancel reservations in the event of misuse. and to draw further consequences in the event of improper use of the ticket.
